Another Birthday Gift

Did I mention there are a lot of birthdays this month? Another one of my friends from work celebrated her birthday this week. She is getting married in April and had asked me to make some ring bearer pillows for the wedding. She is VERY hard to shop for...she didn't even know what she wanted for her birthday, so I decided to go ahead and make the pillows and give them to her for her birthday.

Birthdays

There are a lot of birthdays coming up and I've been super busy making gifts for those birthdays. One of my friends is getting ready to celebrate her little girl's first birthday and they are having a "pink ladybug" party; thus she wanted a dress to coordinate. She asked me to make the a-line dress below and then I decided to make it reversible so she would get more wear out of it.
I wanted to make her a little something as a gift from me, so here is the hat I made to match her dress.

Second Gift of the Year

Our friends just moved in their beautiful new house, so as a house warming present, I made them a Valentine's wreath to adorn their door!

Newest Venture

So another one of my resolutions is to stay current with this blog. I have a sweet friend in SC who gets really irritated with me when I don't update regularly. Let's face it, in the past couple months, I've let it go for weeks at a time, so I'm going to try to do better; hence two posts in one day! I've started a new venture...doll clothing. These outfits are late Christmas or early Valentine's Day presents for Mini and handmade by yours truly!

New Year's Resolution

One of my resolutions(one of MANY) is to make more handmade gifts. I love crafting, so why not share it with others. I would love to say that every gift this year would be handmade, but I know that I would probably not be able to follow through, so I'm making this resolution more attainable. Below is the first gift I made for a friend's birthday; well actually this is the "trial-run" scarf that I'm keeping for myself. I'm very thankful I decided to make myself one first, because there are a few things I'm going to change on the next one that I'm not 100% happy with on mine!

A Cooper Christmas

We had a fantastic Christmas. Both sets of grandparents came to visit Mini for the holiday. Here are a few pictures.

Mini made a gingerbread house with Will and her Grandma.

Mini read Elf on the Shelf with Nana and Papa.

On Christmas day Mr. Jingles, our "elf on the shelf" had flown back to the North Pole, so Will dressed in his elf costume that I made for him for a work party!
